Negotiations in Saudi Arabia: Ukrainians and russians in different rooms, US will walk between them

The negotiations on a peaceful settlement in Ukraine, which will take place on March 23 in Saudi Arabia, may take place in the format of indirect discussions. The Ukrainian and russian delegations will be in different rooms, and US representatives will act as mediators, moving between them.

The US President's special envoy Keith Kellogg has stated this, as Yevropeiska Pravda reports.

"These will be indirect discussions, that is, one group will be in this room, the other in that, and they will sit and talk, walk back and forth, something like shuttle diplomacy," Kellogg said.

According to him, the final format of the negotiations has not been determined, but, according to Kellogg, it is not planned for Ukrainians and russians to communicate with each other.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that during the last talks with US President Donald Trump, the issue of Crimea was not raised. The last time it was discussed was in September, before Trump's inauguration.
