President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his American counterpart Donald Trump want to conclude an agreement on the development of Ukraine's critical mineral resources as soon as possible.
This was reported by the press service of the Office of the President following the negotiations of the delegations of both countries in Saudi Arabia.
"The Presidents of both countries agreed to conclude a comprehensive agreement on the development of Ukraine's critical mineral resources as soon as possible in order to strengthen Ukraine's economy and guarantee Ukraine's long-term prosperity and security," the report said.
As a reminder, Ukraine expressed its readiness to accept the US proposal for the immediate introduction of a 30-day ceasefire, which can be extended by mutual consent of the parties and upon acceptance and implementation by the russian side.
Zelenskyy clarified that the ceasefire applies not only to the sea and air, but also to the entire front line.
In addition, following negotiations in Saudi Arabia, the United States decided to resume intelligence sharing and military assistance to Ukraine.
