The UN General Assembly supported the resolution proposed by Ukraine, which condemns the aggressor country of russia. The US and russia abstained from voting on the document.
This is evidenced by the voting results published on the social network X (Twitter).
The Ukrainian resolution was supported by 93 votes "for", 18 countries voted against. Among those who did not support the resolution are the US, russia, Belarus, Israel, North Korea, Hungary and a number of other countries.

The resolution proposed by Ukraine and the European Union contains references to the "full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the russian federation". Russia is required to "immediately, completely and unconditionally withdraw all its armed forces from the territory of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders".
At the same time, the UN supported a resolution proposed by the US, which calls the war a "russian-Ukrainian conflict" and calls for "a speedy end to the conflict and a further call for the establishment of a lasting peace between Ukraine and russia."
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the UN General Assembly was to consider at least two draft resolutions on Monday for the third anniversary of russia's war against Ukraine - from a group of most democratic countries, including Ukraine, and the American version.
