Russian occupation forces could have executed Ukrainian servicemen who were captured by them in the Kursk Axis.
This was reported by the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Lubinets on his Telegram channel on Sunday, February 23.
The Ombudsman noted that he had appealed to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross due to another war crime by russia. According to him, the video showing the execution of a Ukrainian prisoner is evidence of the inhuman cruelty of the russian army.
"A video of the alleged brutal execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war in the Kursk Axis is spreading on social networks. According to one of the Ukrainian fighters, these are soldiers from the 82nd brigade. The footage shows how the russian occupier deliberately shoots a Ukrainian prisoner of war in the head," Lubinets wrote.
The Ombudsman stressed that the russian occupiers are deliberately killing defenseless Ukrainian prisoners of war.
