Putin ready for talks on Ukraine, awaits "signals" from Trump

Russian dictator vladimir putin is ready for talks with U.S. President Donald Trump on Ukraine, as well as on nuclear disarmament. The kremlin is currently "waiting for signals" from the United States.

Reuters reported this on Friday, January 24.

Putin is ready to have a phone conversation with Trump, with whom he considers relations pragmatic and purely businesslike, and is waiting for a message from Washington, kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. The russian dictator once again said that russia has never refused dialogue, but now it is being prevented by the "ban on Ukraine".

"Putin is ready. We are waiting for signals (from Washington). Everyone is ready," the publication quotes Peskov as saying.

The russian dictator once again said that he is ready for talks, but is afraid that Ukraine will refuse to fulfill the agreements.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 23, U.S. President Donald Trump said that he was ready to meet with putin as soon as possible to end the war in Ukraine.

On January 23, Trump said that the russian-Ukrainian war "would end immediately" if the price of oil fell.

Recall that the American publication The Wall Street Journal wrote that Trump instructed the special representative for Ukraine and russia to end the war within 100 days.
