U.S. President Donald Trump can accelerate the overthrow of vladimir putin's dictatorial regime in russia.
Oleksandr Merezhko, a Member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People faction, chairman of the parliamentary committee on foreign policy and interparliamentary cooperation, has stated this in an interview with the Ukrainian News agency.
"Russia is a paper tiger, if you think about it. We have seen that dictatorships are fragile. They can fall and disappear in a few days. And this has already happened in the history of Russia. We just need to persistently do everything to make it happen as soon as possible. Trump can do it. It will take some time, but it is real. I think the main psychological moment here is that he wants to do it seriously," he believes.
According to Merezhko, if Trump sets himself the goal of stopping russian aggression, he can do it, because the United States has leverage over russia.
"And he can do it, but it will take some time. Not a year, maybe not even two years, maybe more, maybe until the end of the term," he added.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Merezhko is convinced that there will be a conflict between U.S. President Donald Trump and russian president vladimir putin.
