Russian dictator vladimir putin has no intention of being the first to call U.S. President-elect Donald Trump. The kremlin expects the future head of the White House to call first.
The russian dictator's aide Yuriy Ushakov has stated this.
"Usually, the president or head of government who comes to power is the first to make the call," Ushakov said.
He added that the kremlin is supposedly "not counting the minutes" until the start of negotiations between putin and Trump on ending the war in Ukraine.
According to him, the russian federation is ready to listen to the proposals of the American side and respond to them constructively.
Ushakov also said that the team of the future U.S. President has allegedly not yet contacted kremlin representatives regarding preparations for a possible meeting between putin and Trump.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 14, Trump announced his intention to organize a meeting with putin as soon as possible after his inauguration.
Earlier, on January 10, Trump said that putin had expressed a desire to meet with him. According to him, the meeting was already being organized.
