100-year agreement with Ukraine provides for annual military aid to Ukraine of USD 3.6 billion and has a closed part.
This is stated in a message of the Office of the President, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"The agreement stipulates that the United Kingdom will provide Ukraine with annual military aid of at least USD 3.6 billion for as long as it takes," the message says.
It is noted that the United Kingdom will expand its contribution to the training of specialists for Ukrainian combat aviation and will assist with the supply of aircraft that are in service with NATO member countries.
In addition, it is envisaged to increase cooperation in the field of long-range weapons, as well as investments in Ukrainian defense production, in particular drones and artillery.
The document provides for increased interaction within the military association JEF - Joint Expeditionary Forces.
In addition, a partnership in the field of maritime security and the creation of special joint flotillas are enshrined, in particular to strengthen security in the Baltic, Black and Azov Seas.
Separately, the agreement talks about deepening economic cooperation, the countries will promote investment attraction, develop nuclear energy and replace russian technologies.
The parties will also cooperate in the fields of culture, education, science and technology, in particular, they will exchange experience in the field of artificial intelligence and drones.
It is noted that after the end of the war, the countries will work on removing barriers to travel for Ukrainians and British people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer arrived in Kyiv on January 16 to sign an agreement on a 100-year partnership.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Starmer signed an agreement on a centennial partnership between Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
