Rescuers show aftermath of russian drone attack on Kyiv at night

On the night of January 10, the russians attacked Kyiv with drones, one of which hit the technical floor of a 16-story residential building in the Solomyanskyi district.

The State Emergency Service published photos of the aftermath.

"In the Solomyanskyi district, a drone hit the technical floor of a 16-story residential building. Fortunately, a fire was avoided," the report said.

In addition, a car was damaged in the yard. No victims were reported.

It is indicated that as of 10:30 a.m., dangerous structures from the roof and technical floor had already been cleared. Work was ongoing on the stairwell.

28 rescuers were called to the scene and 5 pieces of equipment from the State Emergency Service were deployed.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of January 10, the aggressor state of russia attacked Ukraine with 72 Shaheds and drone simulators of various types. Air defense forces shot down 33 UAVs, another 34 were lost in the location. 5 drone hits were recorded in the frontline area in the north of the Chernihiv Region.
