During a hostile drone attack on Kyiv overnight into Friday, January 10, in the Solomyanskyi district of the capital, debris from a downed drone fell on a high-rise building.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"In the Solomyanskyi district, debris from an enemy UAV hit a high-rise building," he wrote.
According to preliminary data, no one was injured.
"Windows, 6 cars damaged. Services are working at the scene," Tkachenko wrote.
Utility and emergency services are working on site to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
Videos of the moment of hit and photos of the damage appeared on social media.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 1, as a result of the enemy's morning attack on the capital, two people were killed and seven were injured, three of them were hospitalized.
In 2024, 500 air alerts were sounded in Kyiv, during which russia carried out almost 200 air strikes on the capital.
