During Friday, air defense shoots down 3 more missiles and 13 russian UAVs - Air Forces

During Friday, January 3, the military of the aggressor country of russia again attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones.

This is stated in the message of the Air Forces.

Thus, from 12:00 p.m. on January 3, the enemy launched strikes with missiles of various types: 5 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles in the Kursk Oblast, 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles in the Chernihiv Region, three Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missiles in the Dnipropetrovsk Region. And also attacked with 32 attack UAVs of the Shahed type and simulator drones of various types from the north-eastern direction.

As of 8:00 p.m., three Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missiles and 13 enemy UAVs were shot down, 19 enemy drone simulators were lost in location (without negative consequences).

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the russian occupation forces used about 20 missiles, including ballistic ones, and more than 300 strike drones against Ukrainian cities and villages in just three days in 2025.

Also, on the night of January 3, the russian occupiers attacked the territory of Ukraine with 93 Shaheds. Air defense forces destroyed 60 drones, another 26 did not reach their targets.
