Russian occupation forces used about 20 missiles, including ballistic ones, and more than 300 strike drones against Ukrainian cities and villages in just three days in 2025.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this on his Facebook on Friday, January 3.
Zelenskyy noted that russia also strikes with guided aerial bombs every day. Ukrainian soldiers shoot down or neutralize a significant part of enemy targets with electronic warfare equipment. However, hits, injuries, and deaths from russian aggression were recorded.
"Such Russian terror, which does not lose intensity, requires us and all partners not to reduce activity in building our air shield, all its system elements - from Patriots to mobile fire groups. We need to constantly replenish the stock of anti-aircraft missiles for air defense. We need to constantly increase the capacity of mobile fire groups. I am grateful to all partners who help," the President emphasized.
According to Zelenskyy, the schedule of meetings and negotiations on strengthening air defense for the next week has already been preliminarily agreed.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of January 3, the russian occupiers attacked the territory of Ukraine with 93 Shaheds. Air defense forces destroyed 60 drones, another 26 did not reach their targets.
