Overnight into January 3, the russian occupiers attacked the territory of Ukraine with 93 Shaheds. Air defense forces destroyed 60 drones, another 26 did not reach their targets.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, from 09:00 p.m. on January 2 and during the night of January 3, the enemy attacked with 93 Shahed strike UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Bryansk, Millerovo, Oryol - the russian federation.
As of 09:00 a.m., it was confirmed that 60 Shahed attack UAVs and drones of other types were shot down in the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk Regions.
Due to the active countermeasures of the Defense Forces, 26 enemy drones-simulators were lost in location (without negative consequences), one was in the air.
It is indicated that as a result of the russian drone attack, several hits of strike UAVs were recorded on private enterprises and apartment buildings in the Donetsk and Chernihiv Regions. The downed Shaheds also caused damage in the Kyiv Region: private houses and cars were damaged in several districts. Unfortunately, there is a killed person and injured people.
