The number of wounded in a russian missile attack on Kyiv has increased to 13 people.
This is stated in a message of the Kyiv City Military Administration, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"As a result of today's missile strike in Kyiv, the number of wounded has already increased. A man received a cut wound and a bruised limb. Assistance was provided on the spot. Thus, the total number of wounded in the missile strike is 13 people," the message says.
The Kyiv City Military Administration recalled that one person was killed as a result of the attack.
As of 1 p.m., 12 people were wounded, 5 of whom were hospitalized.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on Friday morning, the russian occupiers carried out a combined missile strike on Kyiv.
Buildings in the city center of the capital were damaged due to falling debris. In the Holosiivskyi District, an office building, road surface and gas pipe were damaged. As a result, a fire broke out and 5 cars caught fire.
Debris from the downed missiles fell in 5 districts of the capital: Holosiivskyi, Solomianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Pecherskyi and Dniprovskyi.
As a result of the missile attack, the embassies of 6 countries were damaged, among others: Albania, Argentina, Palestine, North Macedonia, Portugal and Montenegro.
A monument of national importance, the Church of St. Nicholas, was also damaged.
At another address, the facade of an office building was damaged and the roof caught fire. In addition, destruction was recorded on the fifteenth floor of the building.
Air defense forces shot down 5 ballistic missiles and 40 drones used by the russian army to attack Ukraine. Another 20 drones did not reach their targets.
Also, the Kyiv restaurant Bassano Ristorante, which was hit by a russian ballistic missile strike in the morning, is ready to receive guests in the evening.
