According to the Air Forces, on the night of December 20 (from 7:00 p.m. on December 19), the russian military has struck with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Rostov Oblast, an Kh-59/69 guided aerial missile from the airspace of the Kursk Oblast, and 65 Shahed type strike UAVs and other types of drones from the areas of Bryansk, Millerovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk of the russian federation.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on Friday, December 20, at around 7:00 a.m., russian troops launched a combined missile strike on Kyiv. Buildings in the city center of the capital were damaged due to falling debris. An office building, road surface, and gas pipe were damaged in the Holosiivskyi District. As a result, a fire broke out and 5 cars caught fire.
At another address, the facade of an office building was damaged and the roof caught fire. In addition, destruction was recorded on the fifteenth floor of the building, where people may be trapped. Two people were preliminarily injured and hospitalized.
