The leader of the aggressor country russia, vladimir putin, has announced that he plans to build a ring road around the Sea of Azov.
Putin said this during the program "Results of the Year with Vladimir Putin", according to the kremlin's message on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"We plan to build a ring road around the Sea of Azov, which has become the internal sea of the Russian Federation," he said, talking about plans to "restore" the occupied Donbas, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Regions.
Putin noted that there is already a program for the restoration and development of the occupied Ukrainian territories, it is designed until 2030. According to him, within 3 years it is planned to bring the entire road network of these regions "to a normative Russian state".
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in May it became known that the aggressor state russia is preparing to launch a railway branch that should connect the temporarily occupied cities of Donetsk and Mariupol in the Donetsk Region. According to analysts, russia needs a new railway line in case the Kerch (Crimea) bridge is destroyed.
In August, the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, reported that the russian army is already using the railway line from Rostov to Mariupol, which has been under construction in the occupied part of the Donetsk Region for over a year.
In September, it became known that the russians are building an unknown defensive structure in the area of the Crimea bridge.
