The aggressor country of russia is building an unknown defense structure near the Kerch Bridge. However, the russian occupiers are unlikely to be able to complete the work this season due to difficult weather conditions.
This was announced by the spokesman of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, on the air of the telethon.
"What it is will become clear when they complete this structure. But this season, most likely, they will not be able to do it, because the period of storms begins, and, accordingly, it will be very difficult to build in such conditions. It can be a protective structure, another transition - it's too early to draw conclusions," Dmytro Pletenchuk noted.
According to him, the russian occupiers repeatedly tried to build protective structures for the Crimea bridge, but each time they failed due to difficult weather conditions.
"We will see how they pass this period, which begins in the fall and ends in the spring. They are constantly trying to place something new in the Kerch Strait, to build various hydrotechnical or barrier structures. But periodically they end up on the shore after another storm," Pletenchuk emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, according to Pletenchuk, the russian naval forces do not feel safe in their bases, so they are taking their missile carriers to the Black Sea.
