Peklo drone missile undergoes first combat use - Zelenskyy

The Defense Forces have received the first batch of the Peklo [Hell] drone missile, which has undergone its first successful combat use.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the presentation of the 2024 Borys Paton National Award of Ukraine.

Zelenskyy stressed that currently Ukrainian developments are actively used at the front and in enemy rear. According to him, it is weapons, in particular missiles and drones, that will bring Ukraine a just peace.

"Today it is a reality. The Peklo drone missile has entered serial production. The Peklo drone missile has successfully undergone its first combat use. The other day we handed over the first batch to our Defense Forces. Successful tests of the new Ruta missile are underway. The long-range Neptun will soon become a terrible reality for the occupiers," the President emphasized.

In addition, Zelenskyy listed Ukrainian drones that help fight the russian occupiers: the Gor reconnaissance drone, the Vampir and Heavy Shot night bombers, the Kolibri and Kamik FPV drones, the Darts FPV aircraft, the Liutyi and the Fire Point-1 long-range drones.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 24, during the celebrations on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine had first used the new Palianytsia drone missile.

According to the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, the Ukrainian-made Palianytsia long-range drone missile costs less than USD 1 million.

On December 4, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced that the Ukrainian Palianytsia drone missile had entered mass production.
