Russia combines massive shelling with hacker attacks on energy infrastructure - Energy Ministry

Every time before massive shelling of energy facilities, the aggressor country of russia carries out cyberattacks on the energy sector.

This is reported by Interfax-Ukraine with reference to the comment of the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Energy, Roman Andarak.

"Two days before the massive shelling of energy, a powerful cyberattack is carried out on many energy sector facilities. Then we know that in one or two days there will be shelling," Andarak said.

He recalled that the aggressor country not only carries out cyberattacks, but also spreads disinformation and manipulations so that Ukrainians panic.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the russians are planning to carry out a large-scale cyberattack on Great Britain, as a result of which millions of people may be left without electricity.

The Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (Zaporizhzhia NPP) was on the verge of a blackout for the third time in November due to russian shelling, which damaged one of the power lines.

As a reminder, on the night of Thursday, November 28, russian troops launched 91 missiles of various types and 97 drones into the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces shot down 76 cruise missiles, 3 guided missiles and 35 Shaheds, while 62 drones were lost in location.
