AFU knock out russians from right bank of Oskil in west of Kharkiv Region — General Staff

The Defense Forces of Ukraine have eliminated units of the russian occupation army, which the day before had crossed the Oskil River in the Kharkiv Region and established themselves on its right bank.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on December 3.

The General Staff said that earlier the russians had attempted to seize and hold a bridgehead on the right bank of the Oskil near the settlement of Novomlynsk.

Despite the numerical superiority of the occupiers, the Ukrainian military conducted a successful operation and eliminated the enemy bridgehead.

"The right bank of the Oskil is under the control of the Defense Forces. Ukrainian flags are flying over Novomlynsk," the report says.

The General Staff honored the servicemen of the 8th assault battalion of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade "Edelweiss" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who stormed russian positions.

According to the interactive map of the Ukrainian OSINT project DeepState, the russians landed in the Novomlynsk area on November 24.

As of November 26, part of the village and a number of positions around it were under the control of the occupiers.
