Occupiers able to enter eastern part of Kupiansk in Kharkiv Region. OSINT analysts give details

The russian occupiers allegedly managed to break through in the direction of Kupiansk, Kharkiv Region, and entered the eastern part of the city. The Ukrainian military eliminated part of the attackers, and the invaders are trying to send reinforcements.

Analysts of the DeepState OSINT project announced this.

According to them, the breakthrough of the russians took place in the afternoon of last Wednesday, November 13.

The occupiers sent two small groups of armored vehicles with a landing party on board from the settlement of Lyman Pershyi to Kupiansk. It is claimed that the russians wanted to reach the road leading in the direction of Svatove, Luhansk Region.

The first group of the enemy consisted of a tank, an infantry fighting vehicle and two armored personnel carriers. The composition of the second group is unknown, as it started moving in the dark.

According to DeepState analysts, the enemy allegedly managed to reach the center of the eastern part of Kupiansk.

"One MT-LB was knocked out in the forest. The other MT-LB managed to get to the area of Svativska Street unhindered, go for a walk, and when they drove to Nekrasova Street, it was already hit. A dozen or so occupants poured out of it, and they ran to the houses," according to DeepState.

Later, the Ukrainian military was also able to knock out a russian tank and eliminate part of the landing party.

Analysts marked the russian advance route as a "gray zone" on their interactive map.

DeepState claims that this situation occurred because in recent months the front line in this direction allegedly "became a mystery" for all units.

"The combat formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the enemy were simply scattered in the forest, rotations of both sides were carried out, and the war in the forest looked strange. At the request of the neighboring units, we ask the SBI and the SSU to pay attention to the command of the 11th Separate Motorized Brigade and the situation that has developed there recently," they added in DeepState.

At the time of the release of the news, the Defense Forces of Ukraine had not yet commented on this information.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 13, the authorities of the Kharkiv Region announced the forced evacuation of families with children from almost 30 settlements of the Borova territorial community.

Earlier this month, the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration announced that approximately 8,000 people were to be evacuated from settlements on the Kupiansk axis.

At the end of October, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleh Syniehubov admitted that due to russian attacks on crossings over the Oskil River, evacuation in the area is complicated.
