Ukraine returns 502 bodies of fallen soldiers

502 bodies of fallen Ukrainian defenders have been returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported this on its Telegram channel.

Where the bodies were returned from:

• 397 from the Donetsk axis;
• 24 from the Luhansk axis;
• 64 from the Zaporizhzhia axis;
• 17 from morgues on the territory of the russian federation.

This process was made possible thanks to the joint work of many structures, in particular the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Interior Affairs, the Commissioner for Human Rights, and the Red Cross.

In the shortest possible time, expert institutions will work on the identification of the fallen defenders to ensure a worthy commemoration of their memory.

Recall that the russian invaders shot four more Ukrainian prisoners of war. This happened in the Pokrovsk District, an investigation has been launched.

According to the prosecutor's office, other cases of shooting of Ukrainian soldiers on the Pokrovsk axis occurred on November 10 and 13.
