Kedr missile complex. Defense Intelligence speaks about new ballistics with which russia struck Dnipro

On Thursday, November 21, the aggressor country russia struck the territory of Ukraine, using a ballistic missile, probably from the composition of the Kedr missile complex.

This is stated in the message of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

As reported, the flight time of this russian missile from the moment of launch in the Astrakhan Oblast to hitting the city of Dnipo was 15 minutes. The missile was equipped with six warheads: each - equipped with six submunitions. The speed at the final section of the trajectory is over Mach 11.

It is noted that a number of enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the russian federation were involved in the development of the Kedr mobile missile complex. In particular:

• Moscow Institute of Thermal Engineering (moscow);
• Federal Scientific and Production Center "Titan-Barricades" (Volgograd);
• Main Special Design Bureau "Projektor" (moscow);
• Concern "Sozvezdie" (Voronezh);
• Scientific and Production Enterprise "Spetsenergomekhanika" (moscow);
• Scientific and Research Center for Special Equipment and Conversion "Continent" (moscow).

The Defense Intelligence said that the tests of the Kedr missile complex were held at the "4th State Central Interspecific Range of the Russian Federation" (Kapustin Yar, Astrakhan Oblast) in October 2023 and June 2024.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 21, the Air Forces informed that the russians launched an intercontinental ballistic missile, an air-launched ballistic missile Kh-47M2 Kinzhal and 7 Kh-101 cruise missiles over Dnipro.

Also, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heorhii Tykhyi, stated that Ukraine is waiting for the conclusions of experts to determine the exact type of missile with which the invaders attacked Dnipro in the morning of November 21.

At the same time, putin stated that russia used the Oreshnik ballistic missile to strike Dnipro.
