Russia used a nuclear-free hypersonic Oreshnik ballistic missile to strike the city of Dnipro. Russian dictator vladimir putin said this in a speech on Thursday, November 21, CNN reported.
Putin said that russia allegedly carried out a "combined" strike on the Pivdenmash plant in Dnipro, using a "nuclear-free hypersonic" ballistic missile. According to him, the Oreshnik missile was a response to strikes by American and British weapons on russia.
As usual, putin said that there was no means of countering the Oreshnik, which attacks targets at a speed of 2-3 km per second. In addition, the russian dictator declared a "new nature of war" as Western missiles hit russian military facilities in the Bryansk and Kursk Oblasts.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 21, the Air Forces reported that in the morning the invaders launched an intercontinental ballistic missile, a Kh-47M2 Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missile, and 7 Kh-101 cruise missiles over Dnipro.
On November 21, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andrii Kovalenko, stated that russian dictator vladimir putin was trying to raise the stakes by launching an intercontinental missile over Ukraine.
In addition, on November 21, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heorhii Tykhyi, stated that Ukraine is awaiting the conclusions of experts to determine the exact type of missile with which the invaders attacked Dnipro in the morning.
