On Thursday, November 21, in the morning, the russian troops launched an intercontinental ballistic missile, an air-launched ballistic missile Kh-47M2 Kinzhal and 7 Kh-101 cruise missiles over the city of Dnipro; units of the anti-aircraft missile forces destroyed 6 Kh-101 missiles.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that on the morning of November 21 (from 05:00 a.m. to 07:00 a.m.), russian troops attacked the city of Dnipro (enterprises and critical infrastructure) with missiles of various types.
In particular, an intercontinental ballistic missile was launched from the Astrakhan Oblast of the russian federation, from the Tambov Oblast from a MiG-31K fighter - an air-launched ballistic missile Kh-47M2 Kinzhal, from Tu-95MS strategic bombers - seven Kh-101 cruise missiles (launch area - Volgograd Oblast of the russian federation).
"As a result of anti-aircraft combat, units of the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Air Forces destroyed six Kh-101 missiles. There were no significant consequences for other missiles," the message says.
Information about victims and injured people has not yet been received.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Wednesday, November 20, russian troops launched 122 drones, an S-300 guided missile, 5 Kh-59/69 guided aerial missiles, and struck with guided aerial bombs; air defense forces managed to destroy 56 enemy UAVs and two Kh-59/69 missiles.
On Thursday, November 21, emergency power outages were introduced across Ukraine due to massive missile attacks.
