NSDC comments on US embassy's warning about missile attack

Russia has accumulated a stockpile of missiles that will be enough for several attacks on the territory of Ukraine. This could happen within months.

This was stated by Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC), commenting on the US embassy's warning in Ukraine about a possible attack.

"This concerns the Kh-101 missiles, which they continue to manufacture, as well as Kalibr missiles and ballistics," he noted.

According to him, the aggressor country keeps its aviation on combat readiness. And there are russian ships in the Black Sea, from which cruise missiles can also be launched.

"Accordingly, this needs to be understood and always kept in mind, structures need to think through security measures, and people need to respond to air alerts," he summarized.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the US embassy in Kyiv warned of a possible air strike on Ukraine on November 20.

At the same time, putin approved the updated nuclear doctrine of the russian federation, which now allows the use of nuclear weapons against Ukraine. The updated doctrine provides that the basis for a nuclear strike may be "aggression against the russian federation and its allies by any non-nuclear state with the support of a nuclear state," as well as a massive air attack by non-nuclear means, including drones.
