The water that leaked from the Kurakhove Reservoir after the explosion flooded the field and roads, making it difficult for the military and civilians to move.
This is evidenced by the video published by hromadske.

So far, 20 million cubic meters of water have leaked from the reservoir. The water level is rising in the surrounding villages, but the houses have not yet been flooded.
We will remind, on November 11, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, said that it was the russian invaders who damaged the dam of the Kurakhove Reservoir. According to him, at that time, the dam's blowing up led to a rise in the water level in the Vovcha River within the Velyka Novosilka community by almost 1.5 meters.
Later, a video of the Kurakhove Reservoir dam being blown up appeared on the Internet.
Meanwhile, analysts of the Institute for the Study of War told why the russians blew up the dam and how it could affect the situation in the Kurakhove area.
