A video of the undermining of the dam of the Kurakhove Reservoir in the area of the village of Stari Terny, Donetsk Region, appeared on the Internet.
The clip was published by TSN correspondent Yuliya Kyriyenko.
The video of the dam being blown up was caught on the camera of a likely unmanned aerial vehicle of the Ukrainian military.
The charge was most likely installed inside the dam. This is indicated by a flash of fire that bursts out at the moment of the explosion from under the structure on the opposite side from the reservoir.
In another video, you can see the damage to the structure caused by the blast.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 11, the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Vadym Filashkin, said that the russian occupiers had damaged the dam of the Kurakhove Reservoir.
He said that the detonation of the dam led to the rise of the water level in the Vovcha River within the Velykonovosilkivska community by almost 1.5 meters.
According to Roman Padun, the head of the Kurakhove city military administration, due to the russian shelling, it is not possible to inspect the dam of the Kurakhove Reservoir.
