IMF mission starts work in Kyiv on 6th revision of extended fund facility

The mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) started work in Kyiv on the 6th revision of the extended fund facility.

This is stated in the message of the IMF, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The IMF mission headed by Gavin Gray started discussions with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities today (November 11) in Kyiv in the context of the sixth review of the Extended Fund Facility. The meetings directly in Kyiv will end on November 18, after which the dialogue is expected to continue in a remote format," the press service quoted Priscilla Toffano, permanent representative of the International Monetary Fund in Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in April, the second tranche of transitional financing in the amount of EUR 1.5 billion was received by the state budget of Ukraine in accordance with the European Union's Ukraine Facility. In July, Ukraine received USD 2.2 billion from the International Monetary Fund.

Also, Ukraine and the European Union signed an Agreement with a total volume of EUR 27 billion for 2024-2027 within the framework of the Ukraine Facility.
