A meeting of the United Nations Security Council will be held today in connection with Ukraine's appeal regarding the deployment of North Korean troops.
The Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Security Council, Serhii Kyslytsia, announced this on his X-account on Wednesday, October 30.
"Today, in connection with Ukraine's appeal to the Swiss Presidency of the UN Security Council, a meeting of the Council regarding the deployment of the North Korean military will be held - the start will be approximately after 10:15 p.m. Kyiv time," Kyslytsia wrote.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 28, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte officially confirmed the deployment of North Korean troops in the Kursk Oblast of russia.
On October 24, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced that the first North Korean soldiers had already arrived in the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation.
At the same time, the South Korean delegation will visit Ukraine to share information about the deployment of North Korean troops in russia.
