DPRK transfers 12,000 soldiers to russia, the first have already appears in Kursk Oblast - Defense Intelligence

The first military units from North Korea arrived in the Kursk Oblast of the aggressor country of russia on October 23. In total, the DPRK transferred 12,000 of its troops to the russian federation.

This was announced by the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Thursday, October 24.

The first military personnel from the DPRK, who were trained on russian training grounds, arrived in the Kursk Oblast war zone. North Korean soldiers are trained at five military training grounds in the east of russia - Baranovsky (Ussuriysk), Donguz (Ulan-Ude), Yekaterinoslavsky (Yekaterinoslavka), 248th (Knyazye-Volkonskoye) and 249th (Sergeyevka). These soldiers are given several weeks to prepare for the war against Ukraine.

"According to the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the number of North Korean soldiers transferred to russia is now about 12,000, including 500 officers, including three Pyongyang generals. Moscow has appointed Deputy Defense Minister of the russian federation Yunus-Bek Yevkurov to be responsible for monitoring the training and adaptation of the North Korean troops," the message says.

The Defense Intelligence noted that ammunition, winter clothes and shoes, hygiene products and bed linen are given to the military from the DPRK. They will receive 300 grams of soap and 50 meters of toilet paper from the russian federation every month.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 23, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced that the United States has evidence of sending North Korean military forces to the aggressor country of russia.

On October 23, Ukraine appealed to the soldiers of North Korea not to become complicit in russia's criminal aggression.

On October 22, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that North Korea is preparing to send two units, each of which has 6,000 people.
