The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) during a retaliatory strike on Iran on October 26 allegedly hit all the intended targets, which made it possible to deprive the Islamic Republic of strategic opportunities for the next two to three years.
Doron Kadosh, a correspondent of the Israeli Army Radio (Galei Tzahal), reported this with reference to his own sources in the country's security service.
According to him, the IDF allegedly hit Iran's long-range anti-aircraft missile systems. We are talking about both russian S-300 systems and Iranian-made systems.
"All the batteries were destroyed, as were the long-range radars," Kadosh wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
He added that now the Iranian army supposedly has only short-range anti-aircraft systems left.
According to the assessment of the Israeli military leadership, Kadosh writes, Tehran has lost strategic opportunities for the next two to three years.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 26, the Israel Defense Forces attacked a number of facilities on the territory of Iran. The attack was in response to a massive missile attack by Tehran in early October.
Recall that on October 24, The Times wrote, citing its own sources, that Israel was allegedly forced to postpone the attack on Iran due to the leak of secret documents.
