Israel was forced to delay retaliatory strike against Iran due to leak of classified documents

Israel's leadership was forced to postpone the task of retaliating against Iran due to the leak of a number of secret documents that could have allowed Tehran to predict the details of the attack.

This was reported by the British publication The Times with reference to its own sources.

Last week, a document was published in one of the pro-Iranian Telegram channels. It contained a US assessment of Israel's likely response to a massive missile attack by Iran earlier this month.

As the publication writes, the information contained in the document was based on satellite images and other intelligence data.

It also mentioned two Israeli air-launched ballistic missiles called Rox and Golden Horizon.

According to the publication, the Israeli military is concerned that Iran can take advantage of the information leak and predict certain attack schemes, which will enable it to prepare for defense.

As a result of the leak, Israel was forced to begin developing an alternative plan to attack Iran.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 1, Iran launched a missile attack on Israel, using about 200 missiles of various types.

According to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Iranian strike was a failure, as the Israeli air defense system intercepted most of the missiles.

The next day, October 2, Israel promised Iran retaliation for the massive missile attack.
