First North Korean troops to arrive in Kursk Oblast Wednesday – Budanov

The first North Korean troops are expected to arrive in the Kursk Oblast in the aggressor country russia on Wednesday, October 23.

The head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, informed The War Zone about this on Tuesday, October 22.

The first North Korean troops will arrive in the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation on Wednesday to help the aggressor defend itself against Ukrainian troops, Budanov said.

"We are waiting for the first units tomorrow on the Kursk axis. At the moment, it is unclear how many and how they will be equipped. We will see in a few days," said the head of the Defense Intelligence.

According to Budanov, North Korean troops will use russian equipment and ammunition.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 22, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has information about the training of two military units from North Korea.

On October 20, the intelligence agency published satellite images that recorded the movement of North Korean troops towards the aggressor state of russia.

Recall that on October 18, Budanov stated that there are currently about 11,000 North Korean servicemen in the east of the russian federation.
