Russian dictator vladimir putin has submitted to the State Duma of the russian federation a bill on the ratification of the strategic partnership agreement with North Korea.
The russian propaganda agency TASS reported this.
This treaty was signed earlier in the summer during the visit of the russian dictator to North Korea. The document resembles a military alliance and provides for military assistance in the event of an attack on one of the countries.
The explanatory note states that moscow and Pyongyang seek to establish global strategic stability and a fair multipolar international system.
The treaty of 23 articles de facto implies a military alliance, as it contains a clause on the provision of assistance "by all available means" in the event of an attack on one of the participating countries.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 14, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that in the fall and winter, North Korea will actually join the war against Ukraine on the side of russia.
Recall that at the beginning of October, the Minister of Defense of South Korea, Kim Yong-hyun, said that North Korea will probably send its troops to support the russian army in Ukraine.
And the day before, The Washington Post wrote with reference to its own sources that thousands of North Korean soldiers are undergoing training in russia. After that, they will be sent to the front in Ukraine.
