President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the details of Ukraine's Victory Plan to British Prime Minister Keir Starmer during their meeting in London.
Zelenskyy announced this in the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"During a meeting with the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Keir Starmer, in London, I presented him with the details of the Victory Plan. We agreed to work it out together with our allies," he said.
Zelenskyy noted that the Victory Plan is designed to create the right conditions to end the war in a fair way.
According to a message from the President's Office, Zelenskyy called the Victory Plan a bridge to the second Peace Summit, stressing that Ukraine can only negotiate from a strong position.
Zelenskyy also emphasized that it is important for Ukraine to receive an invitation to join NATO.
In addition, during the meeting they discussed future defense and financial assistance, Starmer assured that Great Britain will continue to maintain a leadership role in supporting Ukraine.
Zelenskyy thanked Great Britain for its constant defense support for Ukraine, including long-range weapons, and also emphasized the need to obtain permission for strikes deep into russian territory.
Zelenskyy also said that a tripartite meeting was held in London with Starmer and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
The key topics of the negotiations are Euro-Atlantic integration and the military strengthening of Ukraine, which, according to Zelenskyy, will create the best conditions for restoring a just peace.
They also discussed the implementation of the decisions of the Washington NATO summit as soon as possible, in particular regarding the strengthening of Ukraine with new air defense systems, the strengthening of aviation capabilities, as well as the allies' investment in the Ukrainian production of shells, drones and long-range weapons.
They also agreed on their next steps.
Earlier, during a conversation with media representatives in Dubrovnik, Croatia, Zelenskyy announced that he would soon hold talks with the leaders of Great Britain, France, Italy, and Germany in each of the countries on which the military component of Ukraine's strengthening depends, and then, as planned, he would present the Victory Plan for all partners during a meeting in the Ramstein format.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the 25th Ramstein was supposed to take place on October 12, but due to a hurricane in the USA, the President of the United States, Joseph Biden, will not be able to come to Germany and decided to postpone the meeting.
Zelenskyy is convinced that it is in the Ramstein format that it is best to coordinate with all partners the implementation of the specific content of the Victory Plan, primarily military points that strengthen Ukraine on the battlefield.
