Biden will not go to Rammstein. Pentagon names reason

The meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group scheduled for October 12 at the German Ramstein Air Base may be postponed.

The spokeswoman of the U.S. Department of Defense Sabrina Singh stated this at a briefing.

According to her, President Joe Biden postponed his trip to the Rammstein format meeting because of Hurricane Milton.

Singh also did not rule out that, given the circumstances, the meeting in the Rammstein format could be postponed and combined with the meeting of NATO defense ministers on October 17-18. There is currently no final decision.

"We're just figuring this out right now. So, you know, when there's more updates to provide, I certainly will. But the president just pulled down his trip this morning. So, again, we're working through those details. When we have more, we'll provide it," said a Pentagon spokeswoman.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, plans to present his Victory Plan to the leaders of allied countries, who will gather at a meeting of the contact group in the Rammstein format.

On September 26, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the Ukraine Victory Plan to U.S. President Joe Biden.
