The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that against the backdrop of the postponement of the meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine, a new meeting schedule may be prepared in the near future.
He said this at a joint press conference with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic.
"The Ramstein meeting, which was scheduled for this week, has been postponed for the time being. The reason is quite obvious - natural disasters on America, which require the maximum attention of President Biden to the domestic situation. Any leader in similar circumstances would have stayed in his country," he said.
At the same time, Zelenskyy emphasized that the leadership format of Ramstein is particularly important, therefore, according to him, there is an understanding that a new schedule may be prepared in the near future.
He added that it is the best at Ramstein to coordinate the implementation of the specific content of the victory plan with partners. First of all, according to him, military points that will strengthen Ukraine at the front.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, President Joe Biden postponed his trip to the Ramstein format meeting due to Hurricane Milton.
