The morning of October 8, 2022, forever entered the history of our struggle. It was then that the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), as a result of a complex multi-level operation, struck the first powerful blow against the "symbol of Kremlin propaganda" - the Crimea bridge.
This was announced by the SSU, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"This bright explosion became a real holiday for all Ukrainians and a slap in the face to putin's 70th birthday. Since then, the bridge has ceased to be the main logistical artery of the enemy for the supply of military equipment and fuel to the south of Ukraine. And most importantly, the explosion sowed panic and chaos among the occupiers, who first started to flee Crimea en masse," the Service noted.
In addition, this blow proved to the whole world: there is nothing created by russia that can withstand the will and determination of Ukrainians.
"But one goal remains unshakable - to return every meter of our native land and win our final Victory!" the SBU stressed.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the president of the russian federation, vladimir putin, accused the special services of Ukraine of undermining the Crimea bridge. On October 8, an explosion occurred on the Kerch bridge in the temporarily occupied Crimea, which damaged the road surface. Russian media reported that there was a powerful fire on the railway branch of the Crimea bridge.
