Parts of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians were not removed from the front to replenish losses. The unit continues to defend the positions to which it was redeployed after withdrawal from Vuhledar, Donetsk Region.
Suspilne writes about this with reference to unnamed servicemen of the 72nd brigade.
According to one of the interlocutors, some battalions of the brigade, which suffered the greatest losses, were withdrawn approximately 10-15 kilometers from the front line.
It is these units are planned to be replenish. The remaining parts of the brigade continue to defend in the Temporary Axis.
Another serviceman said that the brigade was left at the front because there was no one to replace it.
TSN journalist Yuliya Kyriyenko-Merynova also wrote about the fact that the unit was left at the front after two years of defending Vuhledar and the heaviest battles in recent months.
According to her, after the battles in Vuhledar, several battalions of the 72nd brigade allegedly had no infantry left.
"Now, in this state, the brigade must stand on the line of combat collision. I think you can imagine the moral and psychological state of the fighters. Even the commanders write reports about their removal from command," the journalist wrote.

Officially, the 72nd brigade did not comment on this information.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 2, it became known that units of the 72nd brigade were withdrawn from Vuhledar. The town, which the brigade defended for more than two years, came under the control of the russians.
It will be recalled that on October 3, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Vuhledar, stressing that it was necessary to preserve the lives of servicemen.
In addition, in late September, MP Maryana Bezuhla stated that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, allegedly wanted to withdraw the 72nd brigade from Vuhledar and send it to another part of the front.
After that, Bezuhla was accused of revealing the plan of the Ukrainian command to the enemy, which led to the withdrawal from Vuhledar and the loss of personnel.
