Trump will support Ukraine in case of victory in election - Zelenskyy

U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump said that he would support Ukraine if he wins the election.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an interview with the Fox News channel.

"I don't know what will happen after the election and who will be the president... But I received very direct information from Donald Trump that he will be on our side, that he will support Ukraine," the president said.

Zelenskyy also said that during their meeting in New York, Trump was really interested in hearing the details of the Ukraine’s Victory Plan voiced directly by the Ukrainian head of state.

Recall that Trump declared that he has a good relationship with the russian dictator putin. Zelenskyy replied that he hoped that relations with him would still be better [than with putin].

Trump also said that he does not consider his strategy to end the war, which was started by russia, to be a "surrender".

Besides, Zelenskyy invited Trump to visit Ukraine. Trump agreed.
