President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has invited U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump to visit Ukraine. He agreed.
The Guardian writes about it.
"Of course. It's a beautiful country," Trump replied to Zelenskyy's invitation to come to Ukraine. However, the Republican candidate did not specify when he would arrive.
Also, during the press conference following the meeting, Trump said that the war in Ukraine should be ended through a "fair deal for everyone."
He also added that he "learned a lot" at the meeting with Zelenskyy.
Zelenskyy added that it is necessary to put pressure on russian dictator vladimir putin and stop the war.
Trump once again promised that if he wins the election, he will stop the war and offer a "fair" deal for everyone. The U.S. presidential candidate did not explain what a "fair" deal is.
We will remind you that today in New York there was a meeting between the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the candidate for the presidency of the U.S. Donald Trump. At it, Zelenskyy was supposed to present to Trump the victory plan, which he had already shown to U.S. President Joe Biden and Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris.
Earlier, Donald Trump published a letter in which the Ukrainian president asked him for a personal meeting.
Besides, Zelenskyy's visit to the U.S. turned into a loud scandal, due to which the speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, appealed to the President of Ukraine with a demand to immediately dismiss the ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S., Oksana Markarova, due to alleged interference in the American election.
The speaker accused Markarova of having organized Zelenskyy's visit to a plant in Pennsylvania where weapons are produced for Ukraine. Zelenskyy was accompanied by representatives of the Democratic Party, but no Republicans were invited. Johnson said that Zelenskyy's visit was "clearly a partisan campaign event designed to help Democrats and is clearly election interference.”
