On March 26, 2024, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announced in a video message that Oleksii Danilov, who was dismissed from the position of Secretary of the National Security Council of Ukraine, "continues his work in another direction - in the diplomatic direction", but as of September 13, Danilov has not started performing diplomatic functions.
This is stated in the response of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to the request of the Ukrainian News agency.
"We would like to inform you that Danilov Oleksiy Myacheslavovych has not held full-time or non-full-time positions in the system of diplomatic service bodies performing diplomatic or consular functions in the period from March 26, 2024 to today," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted.

Oleksii Danilov also stopped running his social networks. For example, the last post on Danilov's Facebook page is dated March 26, 2024.
As previously reported, at the end of March, Volodymyr Zelenskyy agreed to the appointment of the ex-secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksii Danilov, as ambassador to Moldova. Zelenskyy announced this during the traditional evening video address.
As is known, one of the reasons for Danilov's resignation is the insult of the special representative of China, whom he called a d*ck.
