President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has introduced the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha and Minister of Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin to the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).
This is stated in Decree No. 627 of September 13, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
At the same time, Zelenskyy removed from the NSDC the Minister of Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamyshyn, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on September 5, the Verkhovna Rada accepted the resignation of Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and appointed First Deputy Minister Andrii Sybiha as the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On September 4, the Rada dismissed Oleksandr Kamyshyn, Minister of Strategic Industries, and on September 8, Zelenskyy appointed him as his adviser on strategic issues (non-staff).
On September 5, the Rada appointed Herman Smetanin as Minister of Strategic Industries.
