At the 33d Summer Olympic Games in Paris, which started on July 26, Ukraine continued to rise in the medal standings and entered the top 20. Currently, Ukrainian athletes have six medals at the 2024 Olympic Games: two gold, one silver and three bronze.
After eight competitive days, our national team was in 28th place, but at the end of the ninth, it made a jump of 11 positions and is now on the 17th place in the medal standings.
The leader of the medal standings was the USA team, which was ahead of China. France closes the top 3.

In Ukraine, the 2024 Olympics will be officially broadcast by the platforms of the public broadcaster:
- local TV channels Suspilne (Suspilne Kyiv, Suspilne Lviv, etc.) and Suspilne Sport TV channel;
- Suspilne Sport website - broadcast of 4 additional sports;
- YouTube channel Suspilne Sport - selected events with the participation of Ukrainians.
Live broadcasts on TV channels will be available from 10 a.m. (when the competition day begins) until midnight Kyiv time. The emphasis of the broadcasts will be on the performances of Ukrainian athletes.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Yaroslava Mahuchikh won the second gold for Ukraine at the Olympics in Paris.
Also, the women's saber fencing team of Ukraine won the first "gold" for Ukraine at the 2024 Olympics.
