Yaroslava Mahuchikh wins the second gold for Ukraine at Paris Olympics

Ukrainian athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh became the Paris Olympic champion in high jump.

This is evidenced by the results of the competition, the NOC of Ukraine reports.

In the finals, which took place on the evening of August 4, the 22-year-old athlete from Dnipro showed a result of 2 m 00 cm.

Heights 191, 195, 198, 200 cm Yaroslava took from the first attempts. The bar at the level of 202 cm was failed by the Ukrainian in two attempts. With a height of 204 cm, Mahuchikh fought already in the status of the champion of the Games, but in vain.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the women's saber fencing team of Ukraine won the first "gold" for Ukraine at the 2024 Olympics.

Earlier it was reported that Yaroslava Mahuchikh will compete in the high jump finals of the Olympic Games for the second time in her career. Together with her, Ukrainian Iryna Herashchenko also made it to the finals.
