The Ukrgasvydobuvannia joint-stock company commissioned a new well with a throughput of 274,000 cubic meters of gas per day.
This is stated in the message of the Naftogaz group, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, the feature of the well is that the planned hole is located directly under the settlement.
"The commissioning of the new well has increased daily gas production at the field by 17%. Next is the well, which will be put into operation already in August of this year," noted the head of Naftogaz Oleksii Chernyshov.
In total, during the first half of 2024, Ukrgasvydobuvannia drilled 50 wells, of which 41 were put into operation.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in the first half of the year, Ukrgasvydobuvannia increased gas production by 8.8% to 6.9 billion cubic meters.
Naftogaz plans to produce 15 billion cubic meters of gas in 2024 at the expense of the companies Ukrgasvydobuvannia and Ukrnafta.
In 2023, Ukrgasvydobuvannia produced 13.5 billion cubic meters of gas.
Ukrgasvydobuvannia is the largest gas producer in Ukraine, 100% of the company's shares belong to Naftogaz.
