The russian occupation forces have reduced the use of artillery by almost a third, now firing approximately 45,000 shells.
It was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to its own source in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the interlocutor of the publication, earlier russian artillery used about 70,000 shells. Now this figure has decreased to 45,000.
At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine increased the capabilities of their artillery by a third, using 15,000 shells. Earlier, Ukrainian artillery fired about 10,000 shells.
He also said that the russian occupiers use about 1,300 FPV drones every day.
The interlocutor of the publication emphasized that the Ukrainian military uses more of these types of drones.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in February of this year, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Ukrainian military will be able to resume the liberation of territories when the ratio in the use of artillery with the occupiers will be 1:1.5 or 1:3.
Recall that earlier it became known that in May 2024 the Ukrainian military destroyed a record number of artillery systems of the russian army.
