The actual volume of grain exports by Ukraine since the beginning of the 2023/2024 marketing year (July 2023 - June 2024) as of April 8 is 36.439 million tons, down 6.1% or 2.4 million tons year over year.

This follows from a statement by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.

A total of 14,316,000 tons of wheat, 2,105,000 tons of barley, 1,000 tons of rye, and 19,724,000 tons of corn have already been exported.

At the same time, during the specified period, the export of wheat flour and flour from other crops decreased by 32%, or by 38,700 tons, to 81,400 tons.

As the Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, a record volume of cargo was exported through the Ukrainian sea corridor in February.

On September 21, the bulk carrier Resilient Africa arrived in the Turkish Bosphorus Strait.

This is the first ship with grain from Ukraine that passed through the Black Sea through the temporary corridor.

On July 17, 2023, russia announced the withdrawal of navigation security guarantees in the Black Sea ensuring the "grain corridor."

Ukraine exported 49 million tons of grain in the 2022/2023 marketing year, which is 1.3% more than in the 2021/2022 marketing year.
