In March, a total of 13,740 deals worth UAH 12.72 billion (+52% to February 2024) were concluded on the Perspektyva stock exchange since the beginning of the year – 39,240 deals worth UAH 36.85 billion (+26% against the first three months of 2023).
This follows from a statement by the Exchange, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
In total, 34,390 deals worth UAH 51.9 billion (+26% against February 2024) were concluded on the stock exchanges of Ukraine in March; since the beginning of the year, 97,030 deals worth UAH 133.6 billion (+47 % against the first three months of 2023).
Since the beginning of the year, the structure of trading on the Perspektyva stock exchange has traditionally been dominated by debt instruments: government bonds – 96.43%, bonds of enterprises, foreign issuers, and states – 3.57%.
On the exchange stock market in general, trading is also observed mainly in the debt segment: government bonds - 91.97%, bonds of enterprises, foreign issuers, and states - 7.81%, shares, and CII securities - 0.22%.
The share of the Perspektyva stock exchange in the first three months is 27% in the total exchange turnover, including for government bonds 28%, for bonds of enterprises, foreign issuers, and states - 12%, and in the total number of transactions - 40%.
The volume of trading on the Perspektyva stock exchange in March increased by 52% month over month, and the number of transactions decreased by 2%.
14.72% of trades were conducted on the repo market, 2.98% - on the bid market, 82.30% - on the address market.
The volume of trading on the Perspektyva stock exchange compared to the same period in 2023 increased by 26%, and the number of transactions - 2.8 times.
In March, contracts on the Perspektyva stock exchange were concluded with 43 financial instruments (+1 against February) from the beginning of 2024 - with 58 (+15 against the first three months of 2023).
As of March 31, 2024, the number of securities and other financial instruments admitted to trading on the Perspektyva stock exchange was 259, of which 158 were listed.
Structure of issues (series) by types of financial instruments: 172 - government bonds and government derivatives (158 domestic, 14 foreign loans), 50 other bonds (17 corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers, eight corporate bonds of foreign issuers, 25 bonds of foreign countries), 30 shares (17 – Ukrainian issuers, 11 – foreign issuers, two – KIF shares), and seven – investment certificates.
The number of members of the Perspektyva stock exchange as of March 31, 2024, is 56, and the number of those admitted to trading – 48. The number of members of Perspektyva stock exchange who concluded contracts in March was 29 (similar to February), since the beginning of the year – 39 (+7 against the first three months of 2023).
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in February, 14,050 deals worth UAH 8.37 billion were concluded on the Perspektyva stock exchange (-47% against January 2024), since the beginning of the year – 25,500 deals worth UAH 24.12 billion (+44% against the first two months of 2023).
